I have a strong dislike for South Korean romcoms so I am overjoyed when I find a movie that I can truly enjoy. There’s basically 4 South Korean movies I love and Kim Ki-Duk directed 3 of them. This story follows a mute woman who runs a fishing resort. A lot of shady stuff happens out here including the haunting stuff that she does. Very creepy at times and a sharp contrast to the more popular movies from "Hollywood" of South Korea (Hallyuwood?).
*note: I believe the recent sexual assault allegations against the director should to be taken seriously. I don’t condone the alleged behavior in talking about his films.
