Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance

(2002, Park Chan-wook)

One of the view South Korean movies released in US that isn’t a huge ball of cheese. An amazing film and so captivating with just how strange the world of each character is. A kidnapping plot that goes wrong leads to a trail of violence. I guess it’s the predecessor for Oldboy but this one is a way better film. It also looks like America is trying to do a remake so be careful that you don’t pass up this movie if the remake turns to shit. Lastly, this movie introduced to me the most erotic sexual experience I've ever heard of: sign language during sex.
