Ikari (Rage)

(2016, Shuichi Yoshida)

You know what sounds like a fun movie? Three scenarios that play out the lives of three individuals who resemble a wanted killer in a brutal murder, with each scenerio unfolding its own unpleasant tragedies. This is indeed not a fun movie. It is quite a dark and often rage inducing as the title infers. Some scenes echo true stories across Japan, particularly some terrible events in Okinawa. Getting through the subject matter, it was important to watch though, and the music and acting hold your hand as you get through the journey.
