Fist of Fury

Martial Arts movies are not typically inspiring to me for painting but they are really fun to watch and get into the spirit of. In Fist of Fury I was particualrly fond of Nora Miao’s hairstyle flying as she darts around in combat (wig I assume). And since you can find all sort of Bruce Lee imagery elsewhere online, I picked a few subtler screenshots from the film. Probably one of my favorite movies he starred in, a lot of layering in context especially dealing with the subject of foreign oppressors.
