Lady Snowblood is a great revenge story with a female as the protagonist instead of the usual male Ronin. A low budget film that has a lot of heart and style to it. When Meiko Kaji gives a glare it sends shivers down the spine. If you've seen Kill Bill, fight scene with Lucy Liu it's pretty much a copy-paste homage of Lady Snowblood and I’m sure Tarantino would say his fight fell flat compared to the original.
