あの夏、いちばん静かな海。

この映画を観たとき、私はずっと泣いていた。特に理由はない。内容自体は、サーファーを目指す青年とその彼女のシンプルな物語だ。二人とも聴覚障がいを持っており、おそらくそれだけの理由で一緒にいる。そのため、お互いを理解していくなかで乗り越えなければならないことも多い。個人的なストレスと映画が重なって、自然と涙が出たのだと思う。北野監督はそういうことをする。特に久石譲の音楽が流れるとなおさらだ。
