この映画のテンポは素晴らしい。各場面はだいたい息を二回半するくらいの長さで、ある瞬間には長すぎると思うのに、次の瞬間には「待って、あのシーンで何か見逃した？戻ろう！」と思ってしまう。そして、どの場面も本当に美しい。物語は、倫理観のないさまざまな人物を中心にした3つのプロットで構成されており、絵を描こうと思ったときに、どれを再現すべきか全く決められなかったほど、良いシーンが多い。個人的に今でも謎なのは、エンドロールで女性の主要キャラクターの一人が「White Chick（白人女）」としか書かれていないことだ。
