It wasn't a terrific film but it was worth the watch. It is a loose film adaptation of the autobiography of AV actress, Mihiro. From a small town, she moves to Tokyo in order to work in the airport, secretly dreaming of becoming an actress. A scout from an AV agency strings her along to eventually making adult movies. As the story progresses she loses the people closest to her and all contact back home. It's hard to be on her side as she doesn’t do well to express her motivation for doing all this but there are sobering moments that remind us these are complex individuals and not disposable eye candy.
