Wonderful Town

This was a straight forward forbidden love story and I enjoyed all of the subtlety it had to offer. I have an increasingly strong affection for films from Thailand and I think it comes from completely not knowing the language or culture and having a lot of ignorance from an American perspective. So these movies, particularly from director Pen-Ek Ratanaruang, help me chill out any prejudice I may have and invite me enjoy the country and language for what it is. The experience is beautiful.
